This year marks a major milestone for BrainXell — 10 years of advancing neuroscience through human iPSC-derived cells. What started as a focused mission to deliver high-quality, physiologically relevant neuronal models has evolved into a thriving team of innovators supporting researchers and drug developers around the world.
Over the past decade, BrainXell’s R&D efforts have led to meaningful contributions across CNS disease modeling, assay development, and therapeutic screening. From the early days of cortical neuron production to today’s customized co-culture systems and disease-relevant models, our science has grown — and so has our team.
We’re proud to have expanded not only our product portfolio, but our people. What began as a small core of stem cell experts has now grown into a multidisciplinary team of scientists, lab specialists, and collaborators — all united by a shared goal: to enable better research through better neurons.
One of our proudest achievements? The scaling and refinement of our microglia production. Once a request-based project, our microglia are now a widely used model for studying neuroinflammation, neurodegeneration, and immune response in the brain. With consistent, functional phenotypes, they’re becoming an indispensable tool in CNS assay workflows.

Just as significant has been the strategic growth of our Therapeutics division. What started as a research-focused company has evolved into a team now actively pursuing internal therapeutic programs based on our proprietary cell technology. This expansion reflects BrainXell’s broader mission: not only to enable discovery but to directly contribute to future treatments for central nervous system disorders.
