Should I make my home in Madison?
Yes!
Come live in Wisconsin’s capital city. Our state’s second largest city, with a population of 250,000, is located on an isthmus with four surrounding lakes. Downtown Madison boasts restaurants and museums, as well as outdoor activities such as farmer’s markets, musical events, and art fairs. Home to the Badgers, the University of Wisconsin campus skirts the shores of Lake Mendota. Parks, and an extensive network of bike paths, are sprinkled throughout the area. Enjoy our Midwest cuisine, as well as our specialties: frozen custard, cheese curds, bratwurst, fish fry, and, of course, beer. We’re also centrally located near Milwaukee (1.3 hours), Chicago (2 hours), and the Twin Cities (4 hours), for those quick get-aways.
